Javon did an excellent job! He cc replaced the old galvanized drain pipe with all new PVC. Problem solved. No more backed drain for the shower or washing machine! This is the second time I’ve used My Guy Plumbing. They’re my go to for anything plumbing.

Arrived to home for frozen pipe. Upon inspection found that only the hot side on kitchen faucet was frozen. Customer had water off to home. I turned everything in home off and turned water on. There are no slab leaks. After turning water on there was no freeze. Customer stated that this has happened multiple times before. It is the only line on outside wall. While under sink I noticed brass dishwasher tailpiece that was thin. Recommend replacement. Collected 59 and will credit
Arrived on site customer stated that they would like to replace their anode rod in their 40 gallon power vent water heater. Water heater is 8 years old and is a AO smith. MyGuy plumbing explained to customer that after speaking with AO smith and getting the part number they say the anode rod may not be able to come out due to it never being replaced and the unit being 8 years old. MyGuy plumbing spoke with customer about this and customer would like to move forward with replacement of the Anode rod. For today’s MyGuy plumbing collected a 200 dollar down deposit. Once we get the parts. MyGuy plumbing will call customer to get them back on the schedule.
Replaced check valve located inside Navien tankless water heater. Bayville, NJ 08721
Cut out and removed broken abs drain pipe for building stack in the crawlspace. Supplied and installed new pvc pipe and fittings and secured my connections. Cut out and removed pvc drain in crawlspace that pick up the kitchen drain. Supplied and installed new pvc pipe and fittings for that section of the crawlspace. Strapped up piping to establish pitch. Secured my connections and ran all fixtures to check for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. Turned off water to the toilet. Pulled and disconnected existing toilet. Supplied and installed new wax seal, Johnny bolts, and supply line. Secured toilet to the existing flange. Flushed toilet numerous times to check for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. Caulked base of the toilet as well.
Replaced water adjustment valve on Navien tankless water heater. Beachwood, NJ 08722
Customer stated that they had a leak under their lav sink. After inspecting we found that the hot shutoff valve is leaking. While running and testing the faucet we noticed a slight leak on the nut for the hot side of the faucet. MyGuy plumbing gave customer options to rectify all issues. Customer will call us when they are ready to move forward with the work.
Customer is having problems with garbage disposal leaking from the base we removed and installed brand new garbage to test it all good
We had a pr-tech out prior to us arriving who needed an additional opinion. Senior tech arrived and discovered that the drainage needed to reconfigure and the condensate for the furnace discharge ties into the kitchen drain with no back water valve. Client has stated the condensate has been like this for 15years once the furnace was replaced and they have never had issues. I did discover a way to tie the condensate into the main building drain properly. For today, the client would like us just to reconfigure the drainage so they can at least use the sink. Client is fully aware that the set up is not code and MyGuy Plumbing is not responsible for if the sewer line backs up and causes any issues. I will leave a quote to reroute the condensate drain correctly in the basement, I will give a credit from today towards that service.
Arrived on site client stated they had a hose bib leak. Upon inspection client does not have a separate shutoff valve for the bib so today we offered a hose bib replacement and adding a shutoff valve for the hose bib. Cleient does not want to move forward with the work today. We will credit back the visual diagnostic if client calls back within 30 days.
Arrived on site customer stated that they had a leak under their kitchen sink and that they would like their Reverse osmosis filters replaced. After inspecting MyGuy pluming gave customers options on what we found to get rectify. For today, customer would like to move forward with all work. After all work was completed, MyGuy plumbing tested all work for leaks. At this time there are no leaks found, everything is working and operating as should.

Arrived on site client stated they had a kitchen clog. Upon inspection in the crawlspace piping appeared to be in good shape so today I offered options to hydro jet or snake the kitchen line. Client would like to move forward with the jetting today. When we were done hydro jetting the kitchen drain we tested by filling the sink with hot water and dumping. Kitchen sink is now draining as it should.

Arrived on site customer stated that their hose spicket was leaking and they couldn’t turn the valve off. After going into the crawl space, my guy was able to valve off for hose spicket. My guy plumbing gave customer options to replace hose bib and valve. For today, customer would like options emailed over to them. Customer will call back once the weather gets warmer to do the job.
Arrived on site customer stated that they would like to get thier drainage for thier kitchen sink re attached. After inspecting their are some issues that we found under the kitchen sink, MyGuy plumbing will get senior tech out to re diagnose issue.
