My neighbor suggested this company. It was an urgent situation so, I wasn’t able to shop around. Devin is professional and the work was completed properly. The price was high but expected. I joined membership to save a couple of hundred dollars. I’m not sure that I should have. It covers inspection checks and water heater drain and discount on service repairs if needed. However, it sounded good, but with a well maintained home, needing a plumber is not often. The financing offered is a pia. The financing company is based in Boca Florida and are minimally acceptable. I would have sought different options for a loan. But, when faced with a crisis, it sounded good. The job also took several days to fix due to bad weather. Devin and helper worked very hard digging out the broken pipe. Overall, the work completed is satisfactory. My front door and porch was covered in mud for a few days so, we had to use the side door to go in and out of the house. I would have liked to have an option to fix top of sewer pipe which is cracked open; it doesn’t affect the performance but it is an eyesore to me. At the time I just didn’t know better because it was a huge mess. Now, to fix it will be another big process and expense. The company tried to add a personal touch by sending us a my guy plumbing soft lunch cooler. It’s not a bad company but it’s definitely not a five star. The financing company is a one star. I wish them well as everyone was kind and professional.

Arrived on site to perform plumbing inspection. Upon inspection in the crawlspace I noticed a section of pipe where the kitchen drops into the main there is a belly and the 4” main is not strapped. Also on the kitchen line there is a no hub coupling being used as a reducer where it goes from 2” to 1 1/2 and the 4x3x4 tee wye is on its back. Also when going in the garage to check out the heater and boiler there was a slight drip on a gate valve by the water heater that has a bleeder cap on it.
Ph 7 Hardness 4 Pressure 60 Today we arrived on site to complete annual home inspection. After inspecting we wrote up estimates on what we found to get rectified. For today customer would just like to flush tankless. After tankless flushing was completed, myguy plumbing tested for leaks. At thsi time everything is operating as should. No issues
Arrived to the home, client has an existing delta shower valve that the shower head with not stop dripping. At first glance, I can tell that the existing trim is not correct and is missing piece for it. A handyman had used silicone to secure the flange plate to the shower walls. After I extracted the cartridge out, the client approached me and advised me that they would like to go through with the shower valve replacement given the certain circumstances of the existing shower valve. Client has requested to have me come back next Tuesday Morning First Stop to replace the shower valve through tile. I am accepting a deposit to secure client spot on the schedule.

Arrived back to figure out issue with the sewer ejector. Client is stating that whenever they flush the toilet in the basement one time the pump goes off. I removed the lid and discovered scum and debris stuck on the float not allowing it to drop all the way down. I broke up the scum and removed what I could from the basin. I then added silicone in between the lid and basin, screwed the lid back in, and added more silicone around the whole basin. Ran fixtures and the pump is no working properly.
Arrived on site customer stated that they are looking to get a new boiler/combi and they have a dripping faucet. Upon inspection found that the faucet is not actively dripping and it is approximately a year old. Gave options on repairs vs replacement for the faucet. Also discussed replacement options on the boiler and customer stated they had gotten quoted approximately half of what we charge and we are just too far off to even match the price. Left estimates with customer.

Over three years ago we had replaced the sewer ejector for the client, I arrived today due to the client stating that after only one flush the pump goes off. I removed the wire plug and discovered that the water level in the pit is very high even after it discharges. I advised to the client that removing the lid and checking for any debris would be the best course of action going forward. Client has requested this service to be in the morning time frame. I had reached out to the office and we are getting them on the schedule for Friday morning.
Arrived on site to complete customers annual home inspection. After inspecting we found some issues that should be rectified, for today customer would like to get his lav faucet we installed last year that is leaking replaced, myguy plumbing replaced faucet under warranty. Please note that warranty length does not get extended, warranty is still from when the faucet was installed the first time. After all work was completed myguy plumbing tested for leaks and everything is working as should
Arrived to the home for no hot water, the existing 40 gallon power vent is no on and there is an error code on the gas valve stating a flammable vapor sensor lockout. I reset the gas valve and the water heater turned back on at this time. The unit was installed in 2014 and is not covered under warranty and part for this unit maybe very hard to find. I advised to the client that due to the age, replacement is highly recommended. Client would like to go over options and if they call us back for replacement, I will then credit today’s diagnostic fee towards the cost of the install. MyGuy Plumb8ng can not provide any warranty for resetting the gas valve today.
Fixed leak on shower head in Tom’s river nj
Arrived on site customer stated that they have a wet spot in the ceiling. Upon inspection found that the attic above the wet spot is dry and the only wet spot is on the surface of the ceiling in the bathroom. Also noticed that the connection between the shower head and the shower arm had to streams of water spraying up but is not reaching high enough to get the ceiling wet. Recommend fixing the leak on shower arm. It could potentially be customer is taking long hot shower and the moisture is building up and causing the water stains in the ceiling and the fan in the bathroom is not working properly. Messed around with shower head and got the stream to spray upwards towards the ceiling recreating the issues the customer was talking about. Replaced shower head gasket and tested all work and everything appears to be in working order and there appears to be no leaks at this time. Waived diagnostic fee.
Arrived on site client stated they had a leak in the crawlspace. When opening the crawlspace there was sewage at the entrance and I was unable to see the leak. Crawlspace needs to be cleaned out in order for us to repair the leak. Will credit back the visual diagnostic when client calls back to perform work.
